The execution
The key planning and building approvals are already in hand. Land premium is due for confirmation in January 2027, construction runs from May 2027 to January 2030, and doors open in February 2030 for the 2029/30 academic year.

Star Group's own student co living brand already runs hostels across Kowloon with a fully digital leasing experience. In its management model, operations run at a 22.5 percent cost ratio, well below the 30 percent typical of serviced apartments.
The sponsor
Star Group Asia was founded in Hong Kong in 1998 and listed on the HKEX Main Board in 2016. The group has completed and ongoing development projects of over US$1 billion across Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan, from The Galaxy to After The Rain.
